The Role: From Trade Skill to Technical Sales
This is technical consultation, not just selling. You will leverage your industry background to build genuine client relationships, provide expert advice, and deliver superior solutions as the technical face of SMENCO in the territory of Far North Queensland.

Is This You?
We are seeking self-starters with technical mastery, sales experience, or a keen interest in transitioning into a sales role.
- Industry Background: Trade qualification in welding/fabrication or relevant industry experience in welding or engineering sales.
- Self-Motivated & Autonomous: A true self-starter comfortable working remotely and managing your own schedule effectively.
- Sales Mindset: Prior sales experience or a strong interest in acquiring negotiation and sales skills—we provide the training; you provide the drive.
- Clear Communicator: Ability to understandably convey complex technical details to diverse audiences.
- Flexibility & Travel: Capable of working independently while being a valuable team player, with the ability and willingness to travel on a regular, scheduled basis (including multi-day trips).
- Must Possess: A valid driver’s license
