SM-80A is a metal type seamless flux cored arc welding wire to be used with Ar+20%CO2 shield gas. The arc is stable, the spatters and the slags are few and the weldability is excellent in a wide current range. The bead appearance is beautiful and the weld metal shows excellent toughness at low temperatures. The diffusible hydrogen content is as low as solid wires and the crack resistance is excellent.
