Terms and Conditions: SMENCO Trade-In Program
By participating in this promotion, participants agree to these Terms & Conditions.
1. The Program
The SMENCO Trade-In Program (the “Program”) allows customers to trade in an existing Fronius TPS power source in exchange for a fixed discount on specified new Fronius equipment.
2. Eligibility and Target Machines
- To qualify for the Program, the trade-in unit must be an authentic Fronius TPS range welder (any model).
- The trade-in unit is accepted in any physical or mechanical condition, including units that are non-functional or require significant repair.
3. The Offer
- Participants are entitled to a 15% discount off the purchase price of a new, specified machine solution.
- Eligible new machine solutions are limited to the Fronius Fortis range or the Fronius TPS/i range.
- The discount is applied as an instant credit against the invoice of the new machine.
4. Mandatory Trade-In and Forfeiture
- Participation in the Program is contingent upon the permanent forfeiture of the old TPS unit to SMENCO.
- Once the trade-in is processed and the discount is applied, ownership of the old unit transfers entirely to SMENCO and will not be returned to the customer.
5. Documentation and Serial Numbers
- A formal trade-in claim must be submitted via the designated SMENCO Program Form on the dedicated landing page prior to being considered.
- Provision of the machine Serial Number for the trade-in unit is a mandatory requirement for qualification. Claims with missing, illegible, or fraudulent serial numbers will be rejected.
6. Limitations and Restrictions
- One-to-One Ratio: Each 15% discount is applicable to one (1) new machine purchase per one (1) qualifying TPS unit traded in.
- Non-Combinable: This offer cannot be used in conjunction with any other SMENCO promotion, contract pricing, or fleet discount unless expressly authorized in writing.
- No Cash Value: The trade-in discount is not redeemable for cash, credit toward account balances, or any product other than the FORTIS or TPS/i machine series.
7. Logistics
The customer is responsible for the delivery of the trade-in unit to an authorized SMENCO branch or participating dealer. SMENCO reserves the right to verify the authenticity of the trade-in unit prior to finalising the discount.
8. Right to Terminate
SMENCO reserves the right to modify, extend, or terminate the Program at any time without prior notice. All trade-ins are subject to final approval by SMENCO management.
